You are eligible for GCI’s Lifeline Service if you are enrolled in Adult Public Assistance, Food Stamps or similar government programs and are a resident of a certificated Lifeline Area. For a complete list of qualifying programs please just ask your GCI representative, or go to: wireless.gci.com If you currently subscribe to GCI’s Lifeline service, just ask your GCI representative to sign you up for the Lifeline Communications Package and they’ll activate your cable TV and Internet services.

Lifeline is a government-subsidized service that assists low-income consumers with the costs of basic telephone service. To be eligible, a consumer must qualify either through participation in one of various low-income based programs approved by the Regulatory Commission of Alaska or on the basis of household income.
